It’s nearing that time of year again! The creepy, crawly, hair raising, and of course, “dude, put your mask back on because your face is scaring me” time of year! Which means that OPI is coming out with their Halloween Mini Pack which includes a glow-in-the-dark polish.
In previous years, OPI has put out some interesting glow-in-the-dark polishes for Halloween. Last year it was Ghostess with the Mostess and the year before that was Boo-berry. I will admit that I scrambled to get my hands on a full size bottle of each. But to be honest, it really was more from a collecter’s need than a polish need because I really believe those two colors were just short of horrid on the nails. Not only was the application some of the worst I’ve experienced, but the colors solo were, well, scary.
This year, however, is completely different. Not only was the application of OPI Glow-Ink In The Dark smooth and fairly streak free, it actually is a great color, glow effects aside. After I put this on, I realized I could actually wear this color year round. So here’s to OPI for coming out with what I would consider their best GITD yet.
This swatch has 4 layers of color and a top coat. While that probably may seem like a lot, I really think it was worth it. I actually tried to get pictures of the glow, but it was a photography fail. But I think you all know what glow-in-the-dark looks like. Pretty much yellow-green splotches on a black background. I’ll let you use your imagination instead. After all, isn’t that what Halloween is all about, imaginations run wild?

I love glow in the dark polishes. They amuse me to no end. And it’s purple!! Awesome.
nikki-the mini version of this is in the OPI Halloween Packs which should be available from retailers/etailers. The full size version are promotional and are given to retailers for x amount of Halloween packs purchased. Although they are not officially supposed to be sold, some retailers do so. I found mine in a local supply store. If you see it, I suggest you grab it up because these GITD ones don’t stick around long enough for second chances.
Oh I love this SO much! Even without the glow in the dark bit I would stil absolutely adore this colour.
Sounds like it’s not going to be that easy to get hold of though so that means no chance for me in the UK!! *cries*. I’m still going to keep an eye out though!

I LOVE how this is a PURPLE glow-in-the-dark polish instead of just that greenish-clear-milky top coat we normally see for Hallowe’en. I will definitely be buying this. Thanks for letting us know about it.
Ahh, now You’ve done it! All is your fault, I found it on e-bay yesterday (and since I really couldn’t cope with the postage charge for just the one polish, I had to get a few more), and as I said before , it’s all your fault, not mine, no,no,no..
