NYX Girls Squared! Part 3

NYX Girls Bottles
The brushes on these new bottles are a bit shorter than the typical polish brush, but they are consistant. I was pleasantly surprised that they resisted going to the ever popular wide brush. Thank goodness.

I love that they named the sparkly red color “Woman” instead of some version of ruby slippers. This looks like a glitter, but it removes like a shimmer. Best of both worlds! Roxy is one of my favorite types of pink, hot with overtones of orange. I’d almost have to say this one is a pearl because it’s not exactly a shimmer or duochrome. But it’s also not just a flat creme. This was one of the more sheer colors, shown is 3 coats.

Saved by the Pink is probably the only color I bought that I wasn’t wild about. It’s a frost and definately applies like one. Perhaps I need to try this one again when my nails aren’t suffering from the deathly disease call “winter”. Chick Lit almost borders on too orange for me, but I think I could pull this one off with a bit of a tan.

All of them are super awesome, but I’m most drawn to Chick Lit…lol…nail polish mirroring real life?

Oh, now I can’t remember if I ordered Woman! I hope I did. Roxy is really pretty, too.
