Let’s finish what we started, shall we? I have five more CND Effects to show you this week.
I usually would list these in numeric order, but I’ll be damned if I end up the week with this batch. I acutally got to the point of resenting having to swatch this lame ass, cheap-o, sparse red glitter that I could have probably picked up at the Dollar Store on sale. I’m pissed that CND not only foisted this on me as an “effect”, but that I had to spend $15 because it was packaged with a red creme polish (in case you didn’t know, I’m really, really not into cremes). To top it all off (literally), red glitter has a limited compatibility range. Looks fantastic on red. Looks pretty damn good on black. It’s passable on the grey. We’ve just run into the end of the color spectrum. It clashes with the mauve. The only time it should be put over blue is during the 4th of July after you’ve finished a platter of ribs and an entire keg… or two. And unless you’re the Jolly Green Giant’s wife or live at the North Pole, don’t ever let it near green. If you really, really feel you need this, let me save you some money and send you here.
Yes, I do feel better now that I got that off my chest. =)

The full CND Effects Line-up is here. I’ll add this week’s pics to the pile-up at the end of the week.

I was really surprised when I saw the first shots of this. After all the amazing sparkle and shimmer effects this seems like they really just phoned it in.
Red sparkle is only meant for Red Cremes
I was surprised at first but right now I think it’s quite cute, looks amazing over red, grey and black, looks edgy over mauve, a bit like and strawberry shake, and I like it over green – looks like a bug, really crazy
Thanks for the swatches, I enjoy them immensely!
