OPI has come out with three glitter polishes very recently and at first glance, they look oh so similar. All three of them came from the same mindset: clear base, micro glitter and hexagonal glitters. However, they are not dupes.
Servin’ Up Glitter (left most bottle and swatch) was bundled with two of the Serena Glam Slam polishes. The micro glitter is much more sparse and most importantly, it’s holographic. This was intented as a top coat so too much density wouldn’t have allowed the base color to show.
Crown Me Already (middle bottle and swatch) is part of the Miss Universe collection and contains a much more dense micro glitter – dense enough to get full coverage with two coats. The color is all silver with no holographic sparkle.
Spark De Triomphe (right most bottle and swatch) was another Serena Glam Slam color that was packaged with White Shatter. The density is right on par with Crown Me Already but instead of being silver, it’s gold. Also the hexagonal glitters are much smaller than with the other two colors.
So as you can see, at first glance these three polishes are disturbingly similar. But once out of the bottle and onto the nails, they are indeed unique.
