Let me get something else out of the way. By the time I finished swatching this collection, I had glitter everywhere. In my hair. Stuck in my teeth. Between my toes. Under my arms. I suspect there was some in my panties. Wouldn’t Paris Hilton be so proud?
Every single one of these glitters has a base color and several accessorizing colors, making this a super colorful collection. Now, if you’ve looked ahead, you’re probably wondering why there are so many similar swatches. While these were fairly full coverage glitters, I really thought they looked better with a base color. It’ll really depend on what your thoughts are on peek-a-boo nails as to which version you’ll like better. Fortunately, these coordinated extremely well with the Color Club Foiled Collection. Solo, I consistently used three coats. Layered, I used two.
Gingerbread is a gold glitter base with holographic glitter set in a clear base. Sugarplum Fairy is a lilac glitter with holographic glitter set in a clear base. Candy Cane is a pink based glitter with light and pink glitter set in a clear base. It also has the occasional holographic glitter. Jingle Jangle is a blue based glitter with dark blue, light blue and lilac glitter set in a clear base. Holiday Splendor is the only color in this collection that is set in a colored base. It has green, silver and the occasional holographic glitter set in a green jelly base. Beyond the Mistletoe is a light blue based glitter with probably the most holographic glitter of this bunch set in a clear base. This one was my favorite.
