Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Shimmers

Now that we’ve covered the Xtreme Wear glitters, let’s move onto the new shimmers. The shimmers in this line are very appealing as a group, but are not that unusual on an individual basis. These all sport an extremely sparkly shimmer that leans to glass flecked. With two coat coverage and the less than $3 price tag, these are hard to resist despite the basic color scheme.

Midnight Sky is a black, or very dark grey, with the shimmer giving it a rather speckled look. I suspect the speckling is just the product of a dark base color as all the others have the same finish and don’t appear speckled.

The rest of the colors are pretty much what you see with Very Cherry being a bright fuchsia, Deep Sea Blue being a dusky blue, Teeny Greeny Bikini being a mellow green and Time to Shine being a classic beige. Even though I typify this colors as “basic”, they are all still quite nice, especially at this price point. And the finish really is what makes them worth having. But if you’re looking for new, daring, unique colors, this is probably not the line to be looking at.

I’m in love with Deep Blue Sea. I like so much this series by Sally Hanse, they have a very good formula! :)

Very Cherry! I’m glad you put individual full-mani photos in here as well, because like you said, they actually look less unique on their own. Weird.
