With Halloween right around the corner, I rummaged through the stash to swatch some of OPI’s older “Not for Sale/Promo” Halloween holiday polishes that always seem to find their way to a retail shelf one way or another. Fortunately this year, we didn’t have to go through this convoluted process of getting full size bottles because OPI marketed this year’s full size bottle of Zom-body to Love directly to the public.

So these two bottles are from years past. I believe Boo-Berry was the 2007 Halloween polish. It’s a somewhat transparent, blue, glow-in-the-dark (gitd) color. Shown is three coats. Unripened was last year’s offering and was the first non-gitd Halloween color. The theme for 2010′s offering was Gothic and I think they achieved it with Unripened. It ‘s a dark black color with subtle green, blue and purple shimmer. Shown is two coats.

Ah, I LOVE Unripened! I picked up Zom-body this year, and it’s pretty cool, but missed whatever the other Halloween colors were, unfortunately…
