With so many holiday polishes coming out at one time, it’s hard to concentrate on larger, more permanent collections. But I haven’t forgotten the NYX Advanced Salon Formula line.
Today we have pinks and reds. And no, your eyes do not deceive you, there is a creme in the bunch. This was purely accidental. I’m not quite sure how it happened as Cherry Culture’s swatches of this line are excellent and clearly show polish finish.
The first two colors are my favorite of this quad. Both are multicolor shimmers with lots o sparkle. Delectable is a pink base with pink shimmer and large particle gold shimmer. The gold in this really sets this shade off. Midnight is a burgundy base with predominently gold shimmer, but also has less concentrated pink and blue shimmer. Maroon actually reminds me a lot of YSL Astral Burgundy.
Power Red was my creme mistake. It’s red. It’s a creme. Really, I never have all that much to say about cremes. Midnight is pretty aptly named. It’s an almost black color which shows hints of burgundy. This is the vamp of all vamps.
All swatches are shown with two coats although I would classify these as 1.5 coaters. Meaning one coat is just shy of enough but a second coat almost seems like overkill as these colors are very well pigmented.

Excluding Power Red I would buy the others specially Delectable.
Maroon and Midnight are lovely. Midnight however looks very similar to Nyx Girls Sexy Plum. Do you think they might be the same?
And here the only one I would be interested in is the creme.

Thank you Grabrille! I have Sexy Plum (thanks to your swatches, they are so accurate, love them!). I’m tempted to get Midnight, too, but if they are very similar I’d just prefer not having a dupe to be honest.
Wow. Delectable is def. gorgeous. Without seeing it in person I probably would have looked over it.
