Let’s talk about some Blue Revlons, shall we?
I hit a jackpot Rite-Aid recently that had more Revlons than I’ve seen together in awhile. So I did the only reasonable thing a girl could do, I bought a bunch of them.
I have a girlfriend that is enamored with robin egg blue colors. She’s actually borrowed all of my polishes in this family range and then has bought several more. Quite honestly, Blue Lagoon is the one she needs. I’ll admit, my opinion is probably skewed as this is a shimmer and colors in this family range are usually creme. But Blue Lagoon is a delicate beauty. Almost imperceptible on the nail, if you take a close look at the bottle (and helps if you have a magnifying glass), you’ll notice the shimmer is blue, pink and silver. This one is a must have.
Mysterious is not actually that unique anymore as the market is flooded with royal blues. But it’s beautiful nonetheless. It has gorgeous depth and shimmers like mad.
I probably shouldn’t have bought Radiant. It’s unlikely I’ll be wearing it any time soon. But it was just so pretty sitting there that I couldn’t resist. It’s a clear base with blue glitter and also has blue and pink hexagonal glitters. While it’s a tad anemic by itself, layered, it gives Mysterious a completely different dimension.
I actually was quite pleased with all three of these colors. Even with Radiant despite being over glitters and especially hexagonal glitters. All the swatches are of two coats with the exception of the last where I put a coat of Radiant over the two coats of Mysterious.

I’m wearing Blue Lagoon on my toe nails right now & it looks so pretty. I bought it last Summer, when I thought it was going to be limited edition, but this is the first time I’m wearing it. Why did I wait so long?
